  1. Having bought the dough balls for my own gluten free diet, I now find that the whole family is devouring them with gusto. The dough balls are really delicious made with Emmental cheese and make a great accompaniment to any meal.

  3. Gluten free and maize free products are very difficult to obtain PLEASE get some near to me (Cambridge)–an 88 year old nearly going frantic!

  4. It would be wonderful if more shops supplied Isabel’s products. Although the availability of gluten free products is growing, compared to regular products what is available is still very small. Both my children have coeliac disease, and are also vegetarian. This leaves us with an even more limited choice of what to buy. Products such as Isabel’s give us the chance to give them fun, nutritious food just like their friends have without it making them ill.

  5. My daughter is 10 and coeliac and loves both the pizza bases and dough balls, they are so easy to make.

  6. The secret of coping with a gluten free diet is to have as many gluten free ingredients and substitutes available as possible. It’s not just about buying ready-made products you heat up and eat; you have to learn how to cook it. Isabel’s mixes are necessary store cupboard staples.

  7. It’s a great product, specially the dough balls mix as we don’t find it here in Wales.

  8. Isabel’s mixes are high quality gluten free mixes with no added horrors that one normally finds in other gluten free foods like low quality soya flour and additives.

  9. They are amazing…. My 5 year old daughter is coeliac and most of the products are tasteless and dry. Isabel’s are stunning… We are all eating them… The product will fly off the shelves….especially the pizza base and the dough ball mix. Please, please make it easier and tastier for my little Girl!

  10. Having tried various gluten free products over the past twelve years, Isabel’s is the first that makes me feel I can enjoy flour products like pizza, dough balls and Yorkshire puddings that are as good – if not better than- their wheat flour equivalents. Not only that, but her mixes cam be used in her online recipes to produce delicious pastry and cakes: at last I don’t need to feel I’m missing out on things most people enjoy without a second thought.

  11. The Isabel’s gluten free Pao de Queijo/cheese doughballs mix is absolutely delicious! I was so delighted when I tried them, only to return to ASDA in Cardiff to stock up, and find that they no longer stocked them 🙁 I managed to get hold of some on Amazon, but was wondering if there are any more stores/supermarkets stocking them? They’re just too good to have to wait for online deliveries to get hold of some!

  12. I have two grandsons who without Isabel’s products would miss out on a lot of foods and treats. I believe it is essential that the requirement for gluten-free is taken seriously and these products should be prominently displayed on supermarket shelves.

  13. I am diabetic and I am finding that wheat based products do terrible things to my blood sugar, so I am looking for retailers that stock a wider range of low-wheat products.

    • Hi there,
I’m really sorry about that – we are working on dairy free option, but it will not be available before the Autumn. Thanks for getting in touch. Regards, Isabel

  15. Really great – a traditional snack from Brazil – very easy to make with the mix. I recommend mixing them up in a food processor.

  16. This is literally a product we could not do without! We always have a batch ready to bake from the freezer but when we make them freshe we like to add all kinds of things to them, sundried tomatoes and olives are 2 of our favourites. They are delicious straight from the oven while still warm and just as nice when they are cold, maybe spread with a bit of houmous. Great to eat as part of a buffet instead of bread and also with something like lasagne or bolognese as a side dish. Truly yummy! Thank you!

  17. In our house these are called “yummy cheese balls” which are eaten in a variety of ways by me and my children – as snacks (still warm just out of the oven or cold out of the fridge), alongside a quick dinner like fish fingers & peas or with a soup/stew.
These balls are easy to make, quick to cook and store well in fridge/freezer once cooked.
A must have in our house, but not always ready available in all supermarkets (so I stock up when I see them)

  20. We love Isabel’s; pizza, cheese breads and Yorkshire pudding mixes. My other half is Brazilian so after discovering pao de queijo in Brazil we were delighted to find these in the UK as I can’t eat gluten and they are delicious.

  26. Absolutely wonderful. In 5 years of being gluten free (after being diagnosed at hospital) these dough balls are the best ‘bread’ product I have tried. So glad I came upon them in Morrisons and I’m now going to try the rest of the range.
