Sandwich cheese bread rolls

Producing larger bread rolls for making sandwiches with the dough ball mix is quite easy, but the larger the item you are making the flatter you must shape the dough, so that it cooks through properly.

Sandwich cheese bread rolls

250g of the mix will make approximately 6-8 large rolls

Ingredients

250g of Isabel’s dough balls or Kids’ cheesebreads mix

160ml of water

2.5 Tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter

1 Large free range egg lightly whisked

100g grated cheddar cheese

Method

Pre-heat the oven to 180C.

1 Place the flour mix into a large bowl and make a well in the centre. Then add the cheese, oil, egg and water.  Mix all the ingredient until they come together into a dough, then knead the dough roughly for 5 minutes or until it becomes smooth and pliable dough.

2 Divide and shape the dough approximately 25-30mm high. Place the rolls onto a non-stick baking tray 2cm apart.

3 Bake for 25-30 minutes or until light golden. Wait until the rolls have cooled down to cut it in half using a good serrate knife.
