These went down a treat at the Allergy Show – we made them dairy free and everyone really loved them. You can make them in any sort of flavours.

Fill them with jams or just dust them with icing sugar.

Gluten free donuts

Now you can make these little beauties yourselves using our Baked Donuts Mix with the help of  a cake pop machine or a silicone mould or a donut ring baking tray available from most supermarkets.

The machine.

If you decide to buy a cake pop maker, we have tried the America Originals one and they look better built that others models we have tried.  Having a cake pop machine is great tool for making donuts quickly (less than 5 minutes!) for afternoon teas or parties.

But you can also use any baking trays or silicone mould to make these delicious baked donuts.

Method

1. Place the Baked Donut Mix and sugar in a bowl and mix well. Then add egg, oil and milk, mix well to form a smooth batter.
2. Place the batter into a jug or spoon the mixture into the cake pop holes and cook for about 5 minutes.
3. You will need a maximum of 1 tablespoon of batter for each cavity.
4. Dust with icing sugar or your favourite frosting.
